Companion caregivers provide a variety of in-home care services for aging adults, helping to keep them at home safely and independently for as long as possible.

Available shifts:

- 4 hour days/weekends (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm)
- 8 hour days/weekends (9 am to 5 pm)

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

The most important and rewarding responsibility you’ll have as a 1776 caregiver is to develop a meaningful relationship with the client. You’ll also provide a variety of home care services, such as:

- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping and preparing meals
- Reminding clients of medications and appointments
- Assisting with grooming, bathing, toileting, and incontinence issues
- Caring for clients with Alzheimer's
- Driving clients to appointments/running errands

*No previous experience necessary - skills training will be provided by 1776

Requirements:

- 21 years+
- Ability to pass a state and national background check
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record
- Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
